It's times like these lately that I question my faith and I wonder if there really is a divine plan. I am usually so vehement about believing in His will and that everything happens for a reason. I just wish I could understand it. My friend Katie text me today and she is in a lot of pain with a breakup and struggling in San Diego right now. I wanted to jump in my car right away and drive there to help her. I don't even know what I could do but I just want to fix everything going wrong for anyone I love. And I know I just can't.
In two weeks Brandon and I will be moved into our new place, I know it will go much faster than I'm prepared for. It will be good once it's done. Unfortunately, Brandon and I can't go to Tahoe this New Year's because the academy has something scheduled for him to do on those days. Who knows what we will now do! Perhaps a night in with our favorite bottle of wine...hehe.

So to take my mind off the little things that try to creep up on my smiles I've gotten back into the gym! I went yesterday and it felt great, I guess I had been just a bit more worn out from it but now I think it's time to get my butt in gear again...
I am ABSOLUTELY ecstatic to move in to our new place. I can't wait to decorate it the way we want, put up our Christmas Tree, make it a home that will last for a while. I can't wait to get rid of the stuff I don't need and bring in new things! Yesterday I was looking up online about "chi" and since my dad used to live in Japan and he had professionals organize his room for better chi, I figured I could use a little chi influence myself! Very interesting stuff might I add.
Brandon and I also have been looking at new decorating ideas and found this place at Fashion Fair across from the Cheesecake Factory that has all the stuff we need (or should I say want). Brandon even said he could go for the "safari" theme, I'm thinking that means the zebra print rugs in brown and beige... with our brown sofas... cool art. AHHH ok, calm myself.
If only we could paint our walls! I guess technically we could we would just have to paint them back before we move out. We will have a little guest room/office which I'm excited about. It will keep all my old furniture and all Brandon's nice stuff will stay in our room. Anyway... today I had an exam. I'm waiting to meet with my research group at state and then I have to go return the vacuum we bought my mom. Sigh... I'll have to go find something else she can use or want.
I've decided to get her Twilight just because I'm such an avid fan and it does such a good job guiding you into a whole new world of mystery and intrigue. She could use it. She's not the only one getting that book for Christmas either, LOL.

Well I'm super excited to walk Christmas Tree lane tomorrow night and Thursday should be fun too!!! And of course the weekend...
Bye for now!
luv Nat

The best thing you can do is take care of numero uno. Your no good to anyone else if you are all frazzled. Going to the gym is a great escape so I am glad you are doing that for yourself. By the way I think you are handling everything marvelously darling! These are the circumstances and times in our life that build character, strong foundations and help us appreciate when things are good. :)
