Grace Like Rain.

I truly believe that some deeply wounded people will by the Grace of God accomplish more good and activate more of their potentials than those in more favored circumstances. Perhaps it is the pain and suffering that enables people to grow into tools to help others who will eventually feel the strife. We are all but tools in God's great design, created for a purpose though we may never know what that purpose may be. But Grace... grace is unlike any gift we can hope to be bestowed. It is a gift bestowed when we are least expecting it and it affects life by bringing good out of evil, repentance out of sin, hope out of despair, creativity out of destructiveness, love out of hate, and life out of death.

"Isn't it strange that Princes and Kings
And clowns who caper in sawdust rings,
And simple folk like you and me,
Are builders of Eternity?
To each is given a bag of tools,
A soul to save and a set of rules.
Each one will fashion ere life is flown,
a stumbling block or a stepping stone."

Amidst the inevitable change of life and the inability for us to escape the inevitable we can only hope to blessed by pure Grace. O' what it means to me.
