"When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life."
It's truly amazing how God works in our lives. He gives us the capability to do anything and by our own free-will we choose with what to do with our abilities. I am so grateful for God's gift of knowledge in my own life, and the mind He was bestowed upon me. I am in awe of the love and honor that He has encouraged within me. The desire to move forward, to learn, to experience (even if painful), but most importantly the compassion and sincerity He has given my heart. Every experience I have been lucky enough to engage in whether pleasant or not has been for a reason, of that I know. Even when I did not fully understand the reasoning I knew that it was for a purpose, and that purpose is growth. Growth so that I may be blessed by expanding my own knowledge of this world even I am to be in this life for a short time.
Every relationship I have had I can only pray that I have made a difference in a person's life, that I have made my mark and that it was good. It's funny how we think we may be in love only to find out that we truly were not; we merely cared with all our heart. It is true that peoople come and go but it is difficult to discern those which will stay forever. Those who will forever long respect you as a person, who will be by your side no matter what mistakes we make along the way, and those who will be a friend despite the world. The game of life is more a battle, a battle for morals, truths, and honesty. I can sincerely say that I have had to stand up for myself when there was no one else to do it for me, and in that I learned that if nothing else... you must do what you feel in your heart to be right. Pain is inevitable but at the end of the day you can still keep your head held high and say you tried all that was in your ability.
Isn't that what life is really about anyway? The struggle to do what's right amidst the tempations and the thoughts of what could have been... the struggle to find what makes you happy without jeapordizing what you stand for. It is so important not to sway with the wind, to make your opinions known with the understanding that not everyone will appreciate your worth. More importantly it is important to have faith, that even in your darkest moments you will be given something new. A path that is God's will in your life, a path that makes all others seem like only a memory.
