Divine Admiration

I haven't written on here in some time and for good reason. Most of everything is for my journal. However, I was thinking the other day about a few things I had written a while back, this in particular. I think I'm going to transfer some of my most important writing from myspace. Lol.

When some random person says your name...
I cannot help but see this beautiful light;
this unconditional love and dedication.
Sharing the same sweet thoughts,
knowing all of me and my intricacies.
If I could define true love it would begin and end with you.
You've held my hand from the very moment I learned to stand,
you lay next to me while I dream,
you give me everything you have and I need.
You've always given me my freedom
and never turned away from my cries...
How can I show my undying devotion?
You make me strive to be a better person
and in your perfection I can clearly see my salvation.
I imagine your face glowing with hope
and your eyes filled with the happiness I struggle to find.
Unafraid of where we go together or what you have planned.
You have been the only one to completely wipe away my tears,
holding all the worries that I fear
and throwing them far from here...
I seem to stumble over every step put in my path
yet you teach me to keep walking.
Through the cuts and bruises you show me that they heal.
So in my love for you I realize I'm never alone
and forever okay despite this meaningless life...
I am all too grateful for being in awe of you,
in your divinity you have taught me now, how to love.
