"Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will find them gradually, without noticing it, and live along some distant day into the answer." ~Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet
I've found some of the most important qualities to have or obtain would be patience, integrity, and compassion. I don't think I could fully live or strive without working on all of these. Lately I've found myself very impatient and in my impatience I've seen the value of having patience. Sounds confusing I know but I know that, "good things come to those who wait." Wanting everything I want when I want it would leave me spoiled and without an appreciation for the things I have. This I know. I also know that the unknown is here for a reason, just as is everything. Without it there would be no excitement, no suspense, no love for the future. It's nice to know that God has written it all already and that I will not be destined for failure...
