I would love to lie right now and say I'm just so ecstatically happy being single... BUT it's not exactly that amazing. It is extremely nice to have freedom and independence that's for sure. It's even more nice not to be obliterated with useless drama. However, I kinda feel like I'm put to better use being in a relationship. How weird is that?!
I'm definitely feeling too old for the "game playing", ya know... the immature childish ways that we wrap our self around just to feel wanted. I hear about different antics guys and girls are pulling with some of my friends and I can't help but say to myself, "Are you freakin serious?!" For example, why do people stay with a guy or girl who doesn't REALLY make them happy? Cause you don't want to hurt their feelings? Because you think you'll never find anyone better? "REALLY?" Haha, wow. I think it's because either A.) You don't have enough guts to do what makes you happy and your scared of being alone and/or B.) You actually like the drama that you are creating and feel empty without it. It's kind of a shame, why waste your time?
That's my outlook on life lately, WHY WASTE YOUR TIME? Life is short when you really stop to think about it and yes, being with someone might be fun, you might think this person really gets you, you might have a great sex life or something... but when it comes down to it, do you want to marry them. Yes or no? It's really actually very simple.
If you can see yourself with someone then stay, if not... then let it go. I just don't know why people like to play with other people's hearts or stick around just to see if things will change. Let me burst the bubble- they don't. I guess sometimes we are too easily blinded. Too afraid, too confused? That's the other thing... indecision. I know that I've been one of the most indecisive persons ever in the past but thankfully I've gotten over that character flaw. Now that I consider myself "decisive" I tend to get easily annoyed by those who are not ;/ Anyway again, I over analyze way too much. LOL!
I am blessed to be where I am at I guess. Just slightly frustrated currently. I'm tired of being obligated to things that I shouldn't be obligated to.
