I was hoping little Rhett Overton would be born on my birthday but I guess he wanted his own birthday. LOL. However, I have a really strong feeling that he will be here next week :o) I am SUPER excited. Hannah has gone into major nesting mode and is organizing everything. This weekend we will be getting everything in order and I have this feeling that we don't have choice, it MUST be done by this weekend. We have to get the baby's room set up, clothes washed, necessary tools in order. She still needs baby monitors, a mattress for the crib, a humidifier, a few more things. I think we will have a better idea when things are organized completely.

Anyway, I predicted he would be born July 24th (next Friday) which is 5 days before his due date. Many people say that first-time mothers give birth later rather than earlier but maybe I'm just hoping that isn't true for Rhett. I want to see him already!!! What an amazing thing to have created a person. Seriously I am in awe that my baby sister is now having her own baby. I think I'll probably be in major shock when I actually see the birth and get to hold him in my arms. It's going to be magical :o)

My sister is such an amazing woman and I am so proud of her. She has been through more than most people encounter at her age and she has handled herself so well. She is an inspiration to many. Even before she became pregnant she has always been one of the most determined people I know, she's not one to let things get the best of her and if they do she fights past it. She is such a strong person, so wise, hilarious, and beautiful. She is my best friend and I couldn't have asked God for anyone better. She will make a wonderful mother and if he's anything like both Shane and Hannah he will be one sarcastic and quick witted kid! :) Both Shane and Hannah have really shown a great deal of maturity and understanding with their situation and I respect that deeply. I was able to watch them as a young couple, grow into a loving and thoughtful relationship. I saw them develop into a loving married couple and soon to be thoughtful parents. I can't wait and I am so happy for them. They love each other very much, they are always smiling even when they have a bad day, and they never forget to be considerate of one another. I'm grateful for my sister and also grateful for an awesome brother-in-law :o)
