Sunday morning I literally slept in till noon. Technically in my mind it was only 11am since the time change... in any case I was finally woken up when Val came in to the room to jump in my bed. Lol. I guess Brandon and Travis had gone to grab breakfast together and we had both slept in! We hung around for a bit and then Brandon and I went to Ashley's place to grab a CD with my sister's wedding pics. Brandon got to meet Sir Tobias Vaughn (Ash's baby French Bulldog). He is adorable!
Afterwards we picked up Travis and went to Milne Studios where Travis works. We got to walk around and check out the new place and Travis picked up his nice, big, expensive camera. We then went to meet up with Val, Beth and Andy with Jenna (Travis' sister's family), and Travis' mom to go check out Beth and Andy's new home. They recently had just bought a new home in the Clovis East district (where it's literally booming!). Their house wasn't built yet but we looked at the model. It's so exciting, everyone seems to be getting a house lately! LOL.
Then we were off to the Blossom Trail. I think it's one of Brandon's favorite places to check out each year because you never know what is blooming, what colors are out there, and what types of adventures we can get into. Last year Brandon and I went and found an old, dilapitated house that had been abandoned. It was SO cool. We tried to find it this year but we were so dissapointed when we found that it no longer stood, it had been demolished. All that was left were trees... However, we did find some of the MOST beautiful orchards I have ever seen. Usually I am drawn to the pinks colored flowers but when we actually go into the orchard it was like being in a new world. It was amazingly white, like snow everywhere but it was flowers! Little fallen petals laid all over the ground, you could pick them up and sprinkle them from your hands like snowflakes. It was just gorgeous and the sun was just setting so Travis was able to get some amazing pics. I will post his later since it'll take some time to get them. Below are some of our pictures we took. We also went to a field with brilliant yellow flowers sprouting up from the ground and took AMAZING pictures there as well. Soon to come.
