"Individualism is rather like innocence: There must be something unconscious about it." - Louis Kronenburger
Some people just make me wonder... wonder mostly about their sanity and secondly about their intellect. Ever have those moments where you hear something and you think, "what the eff?! Not today Chris Angel"... Lately I've been having a lot of those moments. This past month not only have I gained a month's rent in my bank account but I have also pretty much spent a month's rent on birthdays and Sunday fundays. Ok, maybe I didn't spend THAT much but I feel like I've spent a lot more than I would typically. The funny thing is that I'm actually happy I did. I was able to buy birthday presents and spend fun times with people who mean the most to me. Completely worth it :)
Back to my main point... interactions with people I think for the most part are ways to learn new things about yourself and about humankind if you're so inclined to pay attention. You have people who pretend to be what they're not, people who are unhappy with what they have, people who are confused about where they are going, people who judge, people who gossip, people who can't keep secrets, people who would never tell a lie, people who care and listen, people who could care less and pretend to listen... there's people who would give you anything if you asked and people who don't know how to give. People who are too afraid to be hurt that they never open up and people who open up too much and end up hurt. People who are naive, who equate happiness with success or money, who want to travel, that enjoy change and people that are scared to death of it. There are people who live to laugh, who live to love, and who love to laugh and I am friends with all of them. Every single person gives some sort of depth to my character and I am privileged to know them as crazy as that may sound :)
