God seriously and truly works in mysterious ways. Just a year ago I was praying that Hannah would figure herself out, that she would get over her eating disorder, that she would take responsibility and become the adult she was meant to be. Now... she has done all of those things with such strength and maturity. She has become a wife and a mother, but even before that she became an adult... she finally began to understand the consequences of her actions, she started to appreciate the gravity of life, and most of all took control of those things she was able to control. I remember visiting her in rehab and reciting over and over the prayer with her, "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." God surely has delivered and even though we both know great challenges lay ahead... we both have great faith, great perseverance, and a positive outlook.
Even though this was not necessarily the road I would have chosen for my sister, it is most definitely the road God has planned. What a special thing to be walking in tuned with your destiny. Hannah is beautiful and so blessed... and I am so proud of her. My baby sister is growing up and is so wonderful. In some weird way I feel like she's my own child, lol. I mean, obviously I don't know what that feels like because I have no real children... but I imagine it being similar to the bond and the way I feel about my only sister, my bestfriend. I don't know who or where I'd be if I did not have her in my life. It's like another little half of me :o)
On another note... I shall be thrilled to finally get done at work today! It feels like it's been FOR-EV-ERR. I actually woke up a little after 6am this morning, I KNOW IT'S INSANITY. Last night I actually went to Old Town with Ash and Becca around 9:30pm and made it home at about 11pm. Which again is crazy. Lol. I went to bed around midnight and mustered the will to head to the gym this morning at 7am! It must be the amazing, miraculous, magical protein I've started taking. Hehe. I used to be a crazy anti-protein shake person absolutely sure it would make me fat. LOL. But then I realized... it won't. Creatine on the other is a different story, eeww. So I got some cool stuff called Nectar made of whey, zero sugar, zero carbs or fat. Muahhaha, it shall change my life!!! Ya right, anyway at least it'll make my muscles stick around longer than a day after I've worked out.

Hmmm....
TANGENT alert. Oops. Ok so back to my story... I got up early and worked out this morning as if it was night time! I had full energy, I got home around 8:30am and had NO idea what to do with myself. I cleaned and washed the bed sheets... took a shower and got ready for work. Unfortunately, the energy died off and I'm now sitting here drinking a sugar-free AMP to stay awake... and it's only 5pm. Geeez.
Despite my lack of energetic outward enthusiasm I am inwardly pumped for tonight because Brandon, my cousin Brett, Travis, Val, possibly Shane and Hannah, and I are going to grab dinner at Panera (oooo Greek Salad, for the love of feta!) and then gonna watch The Watchmen (that sounded funny, watching the watchmen watching over ppl?). Wow, how bored I must be when I'm writing to amuse myself. Anyhow... it shall be a wondrous time.
And then manana I must work again. However, I will be attending a Pleasure Party tomorrow night which definitely sounds delightful and interesting. I shall blog of it later.
Toodles.
