First off: Brandon's bday went amazingly well. I had a blast and so did he. His smile and happiness breathed new life. It made my heart overwhelmingly joyful to see him happy. Awww ;o)
Here's some pics!

Recently Brandon and I have been fully enjoying all the time we get to spend together and I LOVE IT! It's finally sinking in that he doesn't work nights anymore, and it's also sinking in that we have an awesome apartment all to ourselves. My sister's wedding is right around the corner but it feels almost as if it's a year away. She's been kinda "hormonal" lately so she's hasn't necessarily been the nicest bride to be around. I try and help as much as possible but she seems to want to do it on her own and then complain about doing it on her own later... I guess until she wants me to do something I'm pretty clueless to what's happening with her wedding. LOL.
However, all the talk about weddings and babies has really got me thinking about my future. Though I know I won't be popping out a mini-me for a little while and probably won't be wearing a veil anytime soon either, I do know that I am coming closer to that day. I can't see myself with anyone but Brandon and I am happy to know that we are just where we are supposed to be. It's crazy to think just a year and a half ago Brandon was supposed to be getting married (not to me, lol)... it's shown us a lot. We've learned to slow down, take our time, enjoy being with each other and learn to iron out the wrinkles of our relationship before jumping into exchanging vows. We've seen good and bad come from marriages and know that when it is time, we will know in our hearts. I can't wait for that day but on the other hand I am more than happy to wait for it. As long as we both know what we want and the time frame, we are more than content. We've learned from both of our experiences in past relationships that marriage isn't just about one person's wants and needs. Marriage, even the process of arranging the big day is about coming together, about teamwork, consideration, and endearing love.
Awww... LOL
Anyway, this past weekend Brandon and I had fun. We went to the shooting range and I shot my gun, yeeha!

Haha, I wasn't as good as I had been the last time I went shooting which was a bit discouraging. I guess I'll just have to keep practicing! I can't wait to shoot Brandon's new gun once he's a Police Officer (that's on the DL). I don't know why but I like shooting different types of funs. I'm wierd. We also went to dinner and the movies with Travis and Val. They took us to dinner at Dog House for Brandon's Bday and then we movie hopped! We saw Valkyrie and Bride Wars. Brandon didn't have the Academy on Monday so he spent the day studying and picking up his new suits! They look GOOD! Yesterday Brandon had to be at the Academy at 1pm which meant he was home at 10pm. So, I had my friend Ash over to hangout which is always fun :o) We've actually done a lot the past couple of weeks...
I am certainly not looking forward to next week when school starts again, at least I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursdays. Tonight I need to hunker down and get my graduate stuff in order....sigh. Wish me luck. I'm so ready to move on with my life! Haha! This past semester I had a GPA of 3.98 and it would have been a dang 4.0 or higher if my lame KAC wouldn't have excused my work training time in Stockton. Gay. Anyway... good things. Next semester shall be a 4.0, period. I guess I need to start looking into interning in a few places. I want to get signed up to take the Domestic Violence Program so I am licensed to work with those cases. I can take that at the Marjoree Mason center for a couple hundred bucks, except it's like a week long everyday. Hmmm... we shall see.
On another note, my dad got a new puppy yesterday!!! He got a minature bull terrier, so cute!
He named it Popeye since he has a little brown patch on his eye. I can't wait to come see him in Korea! I wish Brandon and I had a dog but I guess Maci is enough of a handful for now... at least until we get a place with a backyard! Lol.

As much as I want you and Brandon to tie the knot and love to bug you about it...I'm so glad that you guys are taking your time. Clearly, I'm an advocate of taking your time. :) If you are planning on spending the rest of your life with someone...whats the hurry!?
Love you guys! xoxo
