My First Entry as a Blogger.

I have officially entered the realm of blogging and I am more than sure I will become addicted quickly. Lately I have been putting aside a few of my regular hobbies so that I can focus entirely on school and all the little things that encompass my day. I've realized however, that one of my favorite hobbies that I had set aside must continue to thrive in my life... writing. I hope now that I have a little outlet to express my profound randomness I will be doing it more often. Writing has always been such a crucial aspect of who I am as an individual and how I relate with the world :)

Ever since I was a little girl I found such treasures in my Grandfather's poems and thoughts about life.

I aspired to be as wonderful a writer as he. I found myself discovering myself as a writer in High School and began my journal of becoming. Without writing my contemplations they would remain within me screaming to break free.

Recently lots of wonderful things have been occuring in my life and I am so incredibly grateful. Brandon is one of those amazing things. I can't imagine where I would be or what path I would be on if I had not met him. It will soon be approaching our 1 year Anniversary as a couple and on December 31st it will have been 1 year since we first saw one another (at the notorious Pearce Christmas Eve Party, lol). I am so proud of Brandon, he will be entering the Police Academy in January! I know he will do so well! He's been working so hard as Police Cadet many nights a week, and we don't always get a lot of time to spend with each other. I am looking forward to him being able to sleep at night and be home.

I've also gotten a new job at a Bank which is wonderful. Even though we are a bit slow, it's a great job for me to have as I'm finishing up school. Speaking of school... it never seems to really get easier as time goes by. I'm very much ready to be done but I know that when it's over I'll miss it in some wierd way. I can't wait to officially say I have my Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Counseling! I've only been a bit confused lately on whether to enter the Marriage and Family Therapy Program or go into School Counseling (PPS). I feel as though my heart is really pulling me towards MFT but some parts of me know that School Counseling is a secure and well paid job. I'll keep praying about it!

This semester has been wonderful in many different ways. I really have been able to get my priorities straight, unfortunately that meant cutting out a lot of extracurricular stuff as far as going out and staying out late with friends. But it's been a nice change, I actually appreciate being able to go to bed now at 10pm and sleep a good 8 hours!!!! :o)

Well... I think that's about it for my first blog. Thanks for reading (if anyone actually does).
